Designed and built by the owners in 2003 for their own idyllic Hill Country escapes, this 10 acre site on the Llano River has all the conveniences but none of the pressures of home. Mornings are heavenly from the 500 sq. foot screened porch while watching birds at the feeders and taking in the incredible view. Walk down to the River and enjoy deep swimming holes, fishing or just sit and watch it flow lazily by.
Owners are big into cooking so the Kitchen is outfitted with everything from heating up Bar-b-Que to whipping up your own gourmet meals. Cook outside on the wood grill or a wood smoking pit after taking in the most dramatic sunsets in Texas. You can look up at more stars than you ever knew existed.
The den has plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy your book, a Bose IPOD docking station to enjoy your own music and a large (42' flat screen) TV/ DVD for movies or football games (this is Texas after all). On chilly nights light up the wood burning fireplace (gas starter) and kick back until it's time to retire to your comfy beds with great linens and warm blankets. In the Master is a king sized Tempur - Pedic bed (you will want to steal it but it is too big) with a 30' flat screen plasma TV and in the second bedroom there's a king sized bed and a double bed. Each bedroom has a fully equipped bath. |
